A1 Certified Assessors (Self Employed)

NAFIS are seeking to increase its current team of independent assessors to work with approximately Family Information Services across England, Wales & Scotland as they are assessed under the Families First Award.

Closing date for initial intake of assessors is Monday 2nd August

The National Association of Family Information Services (NAFIS) is a registered charity that supports, links and promotes Family Information Services (FIS) in Great Britain. NAFIS represents a network of quality Family Information Services across England, Wales & Scotland.

Our members benefit from a range of support services including, training, publications, electronic communication facilities and regular networking opportunities. Our membership is made up of FIS providers in Great Britain and their key partners in the UK.

Family Information Services provide information, advice and assistance to parents, carers and professionals on the range of children, family and young people’s services available within their area and are an ideal starting point for any family-related query you may have. To find your local FIS, please see our directory.

Parentchannel.tv is a new website that gives give free, on-demand advice to parents of 5-19 year olds; providing realistic and practical advice in a fast, easy and new format.

 

The online resource has been tailor-made for parents and provides quality, short video clips packed with useful, down-to-earth guidance from parents, experts and children. A sample of the content available on the Parentchannel website has been included below. Parentchannel.tv has 80 videos on the site and this will be nearer 200 by the end of 2010.
